Folks in Japan love supernatural characters and their love for horror is no secret. At a baseball game between the Nippon-Ham Fighters and the Yakult Swallow in Japan, an insane opening match between creepy horror characters Sadako (ghost lady from The Ring) and Kayako (scary ghoul from The Grudge) stunned the audience.
As the Japanese fans gathered to enjoy a good game of baseball, little did they know that the stadium will witness a supernatural intrusion at the beginning of the event.
While the cheerleaders were warming up for the match, suddenly the big screen at the stadium goes blank and Sadako - the spooky ghost from The Ring series - enters the ground in a loose white dress and creepy long hair. Sadako's entry is followed by another scary character Kayako (disturbed spirit from The Grudge series) accompanied by little ghost Toshio.
The opening game before the actual match starts when Sadako comes running at the speed of 96 km/hr towards Kayako and throws a ball in her direction. Kayako manages a hit, but falls down due to her twisted limbs, after which her little assistant Toshio runs to the base.

This eerie match between the ghost characters was planned to promote the upcoming movie "Sadako vs. Kayako," which will release in Japan on June 18.
