Ganesh Chaturthi: These Ganpati Idols Are Extra Special. Here's Why

Ganesha Chaturthi starts today and this year, there are several eco-friendly Ganpati idols that worshippers are choosing to take home. 

The 11-day long festival ends in the visarjan, or immersing the clay idols of the elephant-headed deity in a water body. Concerns about water pollution and the environment have led to artists in Hyderabad creating Ganpati idols out of natural products such as mud, jute and bamboo.
