IB ACIO 2017: Exam Date, Pattern, Marking Scheme, Other Details

Tier 1 examination for Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) post will be held on 15 October. Candidates all set to appear for the examination must be aware of the rules and norms set by the recruiting body. Due to the popularity of the job, there are chances of coming across fake notifications, look-alike application submission portals and other alluring designs, sometimes, laid down by fraud elements. Candidates are therefore urged to follow the official notification released on Employment News and on the official website only.
IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam Pattern
Objective type question papers from general awareness, quantitative aptitude, logical/ analytical ability and English Language
100 questions in total; total marks 100
Time allowed: 60 minutes
Negative marking of one-fourth mark for every wrong answer
Minimum marks for qualifying the exam is 33%
In the first phase admit cards were released for for centers like Agartala, Aizwal, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Nagpur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Raipur, Trivandrum, Varanasi and Vijaywada. For other centres, admit cards were released later.
