Tremors Felt in Many Parts of Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi: Three tremors within a span of a minute were felt this afternoon in many parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Many people reportedly ran out of their houses in places like Palampur and Dharamshala after the tremors.

A preliminary earthquake report of the India Meteorological Department said the quake measured 5.0 on the Richter scale with its epicentre at Chamba-Kangra border region of Himachal Pradesh.
