Mumbai, Maharashtra:  Trains in Mumbai were running at least 25 minutes late on Tuesday morning because of incessant rain.

Nearly 15 trains were delayed as the tracks were flooded.

Several trains were lined up on the same track from Dadar to Kurla after an overhead wire snapped, causing delays on the Central line.

Flights were also delayed by about 20 minutes

One person died and a woman was injured when a tree fell in Prabhadevi area of Dadar west.

On Friday, train traffic was paralysed in the city after it received 15 years' worth of rain in 24 hours.

Buses were also diverted and all flights were delayed. Large parts of the city were flooded, which led to long traffic jams.
