Congress leader Rahul Gandhi might have charmed people of all age groups with his mannerism but in front of his home crowd on Tuesday he exhibited his hidden talent.
Rahul turned shooter and hit the bull's eye during a function in his parliamentary constituency in Amethi, Sultanpur.
The Gandhi scion tried his hand on the gun during a prize distribution function of an inter-college competition at Baldev Singh Bhale Sultan PG College in Haliyapur.
On the request of participants and students, the Congress general secretary picked up an air rifle and hit the bull's eye in his first attempt amid thunderous applause.
Rahul, who is on a three-day tour to his Lok Sabha constituency, also tried his hand at volleyball. Later, he distributed prizes among winning participants, party workers said.
Earlier, taking time out of his busy schedule, the Amethi MP visited AH Intermediate College at Musafirkhana for the closing ceremony of Pandit Anand Prakash Mishra memorial volleyball competition.
During his half-an-hour stay, the young leader not only watched the final match but also jumped into the arena deftly tackling a service.
