The Congress on Friday announced a list of 27 candidates for the April 23 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

According to the list, Tamil Nadu Congress president K Selvaperunthagai will contest the Sriperumbudur SC constituency, its legislative party leader in Assembly, S Rajesh Kumar, has been fielded from Killiyoor, while former MP A Chella Kumar is in the fray from Krishnagiri.
