Chidambaram should have been harsher: Mamata
Kolkata: Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee is not happy with Home Minister P Chidambaram's reprimand for West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee. According to her it was mild one, she said Chidambaram should have used much stronger words.

Mamata Banerjee's statement comes after the Home Minister visited the Naxal heartland of Lalgarh on Sunday following a meeting in Kolkata with the West Bengal CM.

Speaking to the press Mr Chidambaram said that the state administration had to take more effective steps. (Read & watch: Chidambaram's tough message for Buddha)

"The buck must stop on the chief minister's table. If it does not, it's the failure of the state administration," Chidambaram said.
