Air India won't charge passengers who need new flights
New Delhi: Air India has offered this reassurance to passengers who were hit by Monday's bandh:   "In order to help passengers who may have missed their flights or decided to defer their travel, Air India has waived off the date change charge for all domestic and international passengers booked on July 5, 2010."

Meanwhile, 'Bharat Bandh', called by a combined Opposition in protest against fuel price hike, had little affect on flight operations at the IGI Airport barring those coming from Kolkata and Mumbai.(Read: Bandh has little impact on flight operations at Delhi airport)
