It was a bright and sunny morning across Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday after two days of rain and snowfall, even though temperatures remained below the freezing point at many places.
"It was a bright, sunny day across the state, but temperatures remained below the freezing point in many places," a Met official told IANS in Shimla.
Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti, was the coldest at a minimum temperature of minus 3.4 degrees Celsius. It experienced 2 cm of snowfall.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus 0.2 degree, while the temperature was 4.5 degrees in the state capital Shimla.
The Met office said the weather would remain dry till Christmas.
