I am a 21 years old female with eye power of -2 in both the eyes. Can LASIK surgery remove the defect? Will I be able to see without spectacles for at least for 20 years?

You can go ahead for LASIK surgery after an evaluation to see if you are suitable for it. The results of LASIK surgery are stable long term and you should be able to do your daily activities without glasses over the next 20 years. Various modifications for LASIK surgery are available including ILASIK or intralase or blade free LASIK.
