Why do I get a painful erection in the morning?

I am 32 years old and have sex at night at about midnight and ejaculate properly and enjoy fully but in the mornings my penis is rigid and erect while I am asleep and there is pain too. Why do I have this painful erection in the mornings?

It is very natural and normal for a normal, healthy male like you to have stiffness (erection) in the penis just before getting up in the morning. However, if you are having pain also with morning erection, you should get yourself examined by a Surgeon/ Urologist. Occurrence of pain is definitely not normal.
