What to do for post inflammatory pigmentation?
Question
Few months before an insect bite on my penis and I applied dettol twice. But after that, a part of the skin became black and remains same colour for about 10 days. And after that the black part of my skin got white and now its like a burn mark on my penis which looks very bad. It covers an area around half an inch. Can any ointment remove this mark from my penis?

If it is just post inflammatory pigmentation, it will disappear within 3 to 6 months, but if it is a scar nothing can remove it other than plastic surgery. You can try Elovera cream and Contactubex gel topically twice daily.
