Is long term use of Tenovate harmful?

Tenovate is the brand name of a medicine called clobetasol which a steroidal cream. Since it is used for topical (skin) application, not much medicine is absorbed into the body. Therefore the usual side effects associated with the use of a steroid are not very common. In any case, it is one of the approved medicines for psoriasis.
