Can MMR vaccine be given safely after 2 years of age?

My child is 2 years old. Till now, I have not given her the MMR vaccine. The date prescribed by the Indian Academy of Paediatrics is 16 months, when this vaccine has to be given to the child. Can this vaccine be given even after completion of 2 years?

Yes, you can now safely give the vaccine at 2 years of age.
