Mumbai: Music maestro A R Rahman, who islooking forward to a live concert of his upcoming filmRockstar, feels that India does not have "pure" rockstars.

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film Rockstar haveplanned a live concert to promote the movie. Rahman will beperforming live at the concert.

Joining Rahman for the live performance will be leadactors Ranbir and Nargis Fakhri, director Imtiaz Ali, singerMohit Chauhan and others.

"I have seen IIT people playing rock music and then youhave the usual rock bands. India-wise, we have morals andhence, we do not see pure rockstars here," Rahman toldreporters at the announcement of the concert.

"Also, in this film, the character that Ranbir plays,does not drink. He does not like alcohol. But, I like thecharacter," he said.

The song Sadda Haq from the film has become quite arage with the youth and will be the highlight of the concert.

The other songs that will be performed at the concertinclude Jo Bhi Main, Kun Faaya Kun, Katiyan Karun,and Nadaan Parinde.

When asked for which song he faced problems, Rahman said,"For a couple of songs we had trouble. Like for the songNadaan Parinde, I felt, we could have done better so were-worked on it. We faced problem while mixing the songs. Ittook 35 to 40 days for the mixing," Rahman said.

Rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali, will release onNovember 11.
