About Kheri

In 2014 general elections, Ajay Kumar from Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP had won the Kheri Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He won 398578 votes. His opponent was Arvind Giri from Bahujan Samaj Party or BSP. He received 288304 votes. 

In 2009 general elections, Zafar Ali Naqvi from Indian National Congress or INC had won the Kheri Lok Sabha constituency. He won 184982 votes. His opponent was Iliyas Azmi from BSP. He received 176205 votes. 

In 1971 general elections, Balgovind Verma from INC had won the seat. In 1977 general elections, Surath Bahadur Shah from Bharatiya Lok Dal had won the seat. 

In 1980 general elections, Balgovind Verma from INC (I) had won the seat, In 1984 general elections, Usha Kumari from INC had won the seat, 

In 1989 general elections, Usha Verma from INC had won the seat. From 1991 general election to 1996 general elecitons, Gendan Lal Kanaujia from BJP had won the Kheri constituency. 

From 1998 general elections to 2004 general elections, Ravi Prakash Verma from Samajwadi Party had had a stronghold over the Kheri Lok Sabha constituency 

In 2019 general elections, Ajay Kumar from Bharatiya Janata Party, Zafar Ali Naqvi from Indian National Congress, Dr. Purvi Verma from Samajwadi Party, Vipnesh Shukla from Communist Party of India, Asif Khan from Bharatiya Kisan Party, Krishan Kumar Yadav from Lok Jan Sangharsh Party, Bandana Gupta from Bharatiya Shakti Chetna Party, Mahesh Chandra Verma Advocate from Hindustan NIrman Dal, Moh. Mumtaz Raza from Rashtriya Janwadi Party, Ram Jeevan from Bahujan Awam Party and Shri Krishna Verma from Peace Party. There are 4 independent candidates contesting Ajay Kumar Dixit, Krishna Kumar, Paro Kinner and Manoj Kumar Singh.
