The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TN DGE) has declared the result of class 10 or SSLC today, August 10, at 9:30 am. Of total 9 lakh students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu SSLC 2020 exams can check their result at tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in.
Owning to COVID-19 outbreak and nationwide lockdown, the SSLC exam and results have been postponed. TN SSLC exams were scheduled from June 15, but the state government had decided to cancel board exams amidst a rising number of coronavirus cases.

DGE Tamil Nadu has already declared the Class 12th and Class 11th results. In TN Class 12th exam, a total of 7,99,717 candidates had appeared for the exam of which 92.3% have passed. In Tirupur district, 97.12% of total students have passed. This is the highest performance recorded in a district. In Erode 96.99% of students have passed the exam.
Highest number of candidates were from Kancheepuram District. A total of 52741 students appeared in the examination, out of which 26701 were girls and 26040 were boys.
Tamil Nadu SSLC result has been declared. Students can check the SSLC result at the official website tnresults.nic.in. This year none of the students have failed the exam. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has recorded 100% pass in Class 10 board exam.
A total of 939829 students had appeared for the Class 10 or Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam this year of which 471759 are boys and 468070 are girls.
Due to heavy traffic on the website, students might face difficulties in viewing their results. In that case, there’s also a TN SSLC result app. Students can download it from Google playstore and access their results.
A total number of students appeared - 9,39,829. The total number of girls appeared in the examination is 4,68,070 as that of 4,71,759 boys.
In contrast to the last year, a total passing percentage for this year is 100%.
Last year, 95.2% of total students had cleared the exam. While 93.3 per cent of boys had cleared the exam, the pass percentage among girls was 97 per cent. In 2018, the overall pass percentage in the SSLC exam was 94.5%.

After the announcement of the result, students can collect their provisional mark sheets from their schools. The mark-sheets can also be downloaded from -- dge.tn.gov.in.

If students have any complaints about their marks, they can submit the form through their schools from August 17- 25. The forms can be downloaded from DGE's website www.dge.tn.gov.in.

80% of the marks will be awarded based on performance in quarterly and half-yearly exams and the remaining 20% marks will be based on students’ attendance records.
The Class 12th or plus two result was announced on July 16 in which 92.3% of students had passed. A total of 7,99,717 candidates had appeared for the plus two exams in March.
On July 31, DGE Tamil Nadu had declared class 11th results. Nearly 7 lakh students appeared in the exam out of which 96.04% of total students have passed.
