NEET PG 2016: MCC Publishes Allotment List For First Round Of Counselling
The Medical Council of India (MCI) has released the official list for first round of seat allotment process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Post-Graduate (PG) courses on its official website. A total of 5598 candidates have been allotted seats in various colleges across the country for PG medical courses. The result for NEET PG was declared on January 13, 2017, after which MCI had conducted the process of registration for counselling and choice filling which was conducted from March 14 -19.
NEET PG exam was conducted in multiple sessions from December 5-13, 2016 at 86 different test centers across the country. This year the selection of NEET PG candidates have been made on the basis of their respective All India Ranks (AIR) for NEET PG for the 50 percent All India Quota medical seats at medical institutes in the country. Step one: Go to Medical Council Committee official website: mcc.nic.in
Step two: Click on the link which says 'PG Medical Counselling'.
Step three: Click on link which says 'Allotment Result Round 1'.
Step four: Enter your roll number or testing ID in the space provided.
Step five: Click to submit. The list will be displayed. Download and take the printout of the same for future reference.
Note: 50 percent of the seats will be filled through the two rounds of counseling conducted by MCI. The allotment list for second round of counselling will be published on April 26. The seats which remain vacant after the second round of counselling will be transferred to state quota on May 9, 2017.
