45 Firms Participate In IIM Ahmedabad Cluster 2 Summer Placements
IIM Ahmedabad conducted Cluster 2 of the Summer Placement Process for the PGP Class of 2019 yesterday. The companies that visited campus in Cluster 2 comprised various cohorts including Consumer Goods, General Management & Leadership, Government Enterprises, Advisory Consulting, and Consumer Services. More than 45 firms participated in this cluster. Consumer Goods & Services included regular recruiters like AB InBev, Airtel, HUL, Mondelez, P&G, Reckitt Benckiser, Star TV, and Wipro, among others.
AB InBev made 9 offers, Airtel and HUL made 8 offers each, while P&G and Star TV made 7 offers each.
The General Management & Leadership cohort saw a large number of offers.
The RPG Group made 14 offers whereas the Aditya Birla Group made 10 offers. The process also had firms like Amazon and Flipkart in the Retail B2B space. Amazon extended 12 offers and Flipkart made 8 offers.
The Government of Telangana, which hired for the Industry & Commerce and ITE&C departments, made 5 offers.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad
first cluster of the Summers Placement process for the PGP class of 2019 was held on November 6 and it witnessed a large pool of recruiters taking part in it. Management consultation firm Accenture Strategy was top recruiter with 19 offers where more than 35 firms participated in the cluster 1 of Summer Placements process.
The companies that visited IIM Ahmedabad campus in Cluster 1 comprised various cohorts including investment banking and markets, management consulting, as well as private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.
Companies like A.T. Kearney, Bain & Co., McKinsey & Co., Monitor Deloitte, Strategy&, The Boston Consulting Group, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Avendus Capital, Citibank, Kedaara Capital, Multiples Equity, Temasek, True North, DSP Blackrock and Balyasny Asset Management participated in the cluster 1.
The third cluster will be held on 12th November.
