Delhi University has opened an opportunity for students who want undergraduate admission. Several seats remain vacant after the regular admission process. So 11 Delhi University colleges will admit eligible students based on their Class 12 marks for selected vacant seats. DU direct admission process will offer relief to students who could not secure admission through their CUET UG scores. Candidates can apply directly to the concerned colleges as per the admission schedule and requirements announced by them.
DU Direct Admission 2026: Why are Colleges Offering Admission Without CUET?
The decision has been taken to fill undergraduate seats that remain vacant after the regular admission rounds. Instead of leaving these seats unfilled, the concerned colleges will consider students for admission based on their Class 12 board examination marks.
DU process is expected to give another chance to students who have passed Class 12 but could not secure a seat through the regular admission process.

DU Admission 2026 Without CUET: Who Can Apply?
Students who have passed the Class 12 board exam and are still looking for an undergraduate seat may be able to apply for the vacant positions, subject to the eligibility criteria of the respective college.
Candidates with low CUET UG scores who could not receive a seat during the regular admission rounds may also get another opportunity through the Delhi University direct admission 2026 process.
Applicants will likely be required to submit their Class 12 marksheet and other necessary documents directly to the college. Seats will be offered on the basis of merit and availability.
