DHE Odisha Degree Admission 2017: First Selection List Released, Admission Begins

Department of Higher Education (DHE) Odisha had released the first selection list for degree/ +3 admission 29 June and admission for the same has been scheduled till 3 July 2017. With the implementation of e-admission procedure for +3 and +2 admission in the State, DHE has not only simplified everything but has also made the system student friendly. Moreover students of the State 2 Board CHSE were asked to enter their roll numbers only and marks were reflected on the screen automatically. The +3 1st year admission will commence today and candidates can find more details at dheodisha.gov.in.

'Intimation letter to the selected applicants will be transmitted through five modes (i) SMS (if mobile number is provided in CAF) (ii) Email (if e-mail ID is provided in CAF) (iii) Website www.dheodisha.gov.in) (iv) College Notice Board (Applied College & Selected College) (v) Toll Free Number (155335 OR 1800-345-6770). Intimation will not be sent through post.'
Meanwhile +2 admission is going on in the State. Admission process for candidates selected through the second selection list will end today and third list will be out on 3 July 2017.
Classes for +2 students will begin on 6 July and those enrolled for degree courses will begin their classes on 19 July.

+3/ Degree Admission 2017 in Odisha: Key Highlights
- Out of 234893 applicans, 75137 male candidates and 82047 female candidates have been placed in the first merit list
- 4 third gender candidates have made it to the selection list
- 16089 and 95046 candidates have been selected in Commerce and Arts stream respectively
- 66.9% of the total applicants have made it to the first selection list
