New Delhi: After few days of the Class 10 result declaration, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited applications for the verification of grades. The Board has released an official notification stating the norms of grade verification and has also detailed the process of obtaining the photocopy of evaluated answer books of all the candidates who had appeared for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE). Students can apply online for grade verification till 9 June along with fee of Rs 500 per subject. 

Requests for obtaining the photocopy can be made from 14 June till 19 June.

The fee can be deposited through payment gateway (credit/ debit card). 'Fee may also be deposited through e-challan by visiting the identified Bank Branch as generated in the Challan and no fee shall be accepted in offline mode i.e Postal Order/ DD/ Money order cheque etc.,' says the Board.

After obtaining the photocopy of the evaluated answer books, in case students find any answer has not been evaluated, the same can be reported to the respective regional offices of CBSE 'not later than seven days of receipt of photocopy of answer book.'

CBSE Class 10 result was declared on 3 June 2017 and 90.95 per cent students have cleared the exam. While the overall pass percentage is 90.95, more than 5 per cent lower than last year, Delhi's pass percentage has fallen down drastically by over 13 per cent. 78.09% students have cleared the examination in Delhi, in comparison to 91.06% in 2016.
