Water Supply To Be Affected In North West Delhi On April 28, 29

West, and North West Delhi localities will face a water shortage on April 28 and 29, 2016 (Representational Image)

New Delhi: Water supply will be affected in several localities of north west Delhi on April 28 and 29 due to repair works by the Delhi Jal Board.

The areas to be hit include Bakhtawarpur, Jhangola, Tigipur, Mohammadpur, Singhu, Alipur, Jindpur, Bakoli, Khampur, Khera Kalan, Khera Khurd, Naya Bans, Barwala, Prahladpur, unauthorised and regularised colonies of Narela, JJ cluster Narela, DDA area Narela, Industrial area (DSIIDC) Narela and Metro Vihar Phase-I and II near Holambi Kalan Village, Nangli Poona Village, Kadipur Village, Mukhmelpur Village, Badli Village.

Due to repair of a 1100 mm (diametre) water main near Bakoli Mod on Palla Bakhtwarpur Road in AC-01 Narela, water supply will be affected and residents of these areas have been advised to store sufficient quantity of water in advance, the DJB said.
