Slight Decrease in Delhi University Second Cut-Off

New Delhi: The second cut-off list for admissions to Delhi University undergraduate programme was released on Thursday, with only a slight decrease in percentages and some colleges even declaring admissions closed.

Besides honours course in geography, Kirori Mal College closed admissions for all other courses. The cut-off for geography only seen a decrease of 0.75 per cent.

In Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), admissions are only open for B.Com honours and there has been a decrease of 0.25 per cent in its cut-off. The admission for economics honours and other course offered at SRCC were closed.

Hindu, which had sky rocketing cut-offs for several courses, declared that there will be no second list for history, political science and Hindi honours. Gargi College also closed admissions for most courses, besides B.Com and B.A. pass courses.

The other colleges which have declared admissions closed for some of their courses were Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Indraprastha College for Women, Miranda House and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College.

But Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, which had declared a cut-off of 100 per cent for computer science, has now reduced its cut-off to 94.5 per cent for non-science students.

In most of the colleges, the second cut-off stayed in the range of 90 to 99 per cent.

DU is conducting admission for 54,000 seats in 61 colleges.
