New Delhi:
A young woman hailing from Maharashtra was raped allegedly by two men in a South Delhi guest house on Thursday.
Rajesh and Gopi were arrested in connection with the incident, police said.
The victim, in her early twenties, had run away from Mumbai to Delhi in search of a job, a senior police official said.
"The girl was spotted by the duo at Nizamuddin railway station and they promised to arrange a job for her. They took her to a South Delhi guest house in Nizamuddin where they allegedly raped her," the official said.
The incident came to light when the girl approached the police and filed a complaint. She was taken to a hospital where a medical examination confirmed rape.
Following this, a case was registered against Rajesh and Gopi.
