8.00 PM: Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi qualified for the quarter-finals of the men's doubles event with a 6-3, 6-3 win

6.48 PM:
India's Anil Kumar beat Australia's Hassene Fkiri to win gold medal in wrestling in the Greco-Roman 96 kg Men's finals

India's Sanjay beat South Africa's Richard Brian Addinall to win second gold medal in wrestling in the Greco-Roman 74 kg Men's finals (More...)

5.35 PM: First Gold in wrestling for India after Ravinder Kumar defeats Terence Christopher Bosson of England 2-0, 5-0

2.59 PM: Tejaswini Sawant and Lajjakumari win silver in 50m 3 Position Rifle pairs event

2.30 PM:
Australian cyclist Scott Sunderland recorded a time of 1:01.411 to set a new Commonwealth Games record and win gold in the men's 1000m time-trial. Malaysia's Mohd Rizal Tisin, who finished in 1:02.768, won silver and New Zealand's Edward Dawkins finished third in 1.02:777.

1.25 PM:
World No. 3 Saina Nehwal beat Mariama Eastland of Barbados 21-3, 21-6. India's other live contests against Barbados were won by Jwala Gutta and Diju Valiya Veetil in the mixed doubles, with a 21-3, 21-8 win over Dakell Thorpe and Shari Watson, and by Kashyap Parupalli in the women's singles, with a 21-14, 21-6 win over Nicholas Reifer.

1.10 PM:
Top seed Somdev Devvarman beats unseeded Devin Mullings of Bahamas 6-4, 6-2 in the first round of tennis event. He will play Sri Lanka's Amresh Jayawickreme in the second round.

Pakistan beats Scotland 3-0 in men's Pool A hockey match.

11.50 AM: New Zealand defeats Trinidad and Tobago 7-1 in men's hockey Pool B match.

11.25 AM: Indian shooters Anisa Syyed and Rahi Sarnobat win a gold medal in 25m standard pistol pairs event

11.20 AM:
Indian shooters Deepak Sharma and Omkar Singh clinch a Silver medal in pairs 50 m Pistol event, while Singapore won the gold medal.
