Thane:
A 66-year-old priest of a local temple in the town of Bhiwandi was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl on the temple premises, police said.
The accused, Parameshwarlal Shyamlal Sharma, molested the 11-year-old victim, resident of Telipada in Kanheri locality, when she was coming out of the temple on Monday at around 12:30 pm, they said.
Sharma took the girl to a room situated on the campus and molested her.
The Bhiwandi police has booked the priest under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC.
