Flight cancelled due to technical snag

Chennai: A Coimbatore-bound Paramount Airways flight with 48 passengers on board returned to the parking bay just before take-off following a technical problem.

Airport sources said the aircraft was on the runway when the problem was detected.

The passengers were later accommodated on another private airliner.
