Renault is gearing up to diversify its product portfolio with the new avatar of its most popular SUV, which is the Renault Duster SUV. The brand has hinted at the launch of the Renault Duster soon. Now, the Creta rival has been snapped testing in Bangalore. While the test vehicle has a camouflage wrap all around, it does hint at a few design highlights of the new Renault Duster.

The five-seater version of the Renault Duster has been spied testing in Bangalore, and the test mule confirms that it carries most of the design highlights from the model available in the international market, like V-shaped tail lamps, thick wheel arch cladding, a shark fin antenna, roof rails, rear washer and wiper, and a raked windshield.

On the front, the new Renault Duster will get an upright fascia, with Y-shaped LED lights, a bull bar-style grille, and a sculpted bonnet. Other key highlights of the new Renault Duster include polygonal wheel arches, ORVMs with integrated turn signals, blacked-out B-pillars, conventional door handles, and more.

Talking about the specs, the internationally available Renault Duster gets multiple powertrain options, including a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol powertrain paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, generating a total of 128.2 hp, a 1.6-litre strong hybrid petrol engine paired with 2 electric motors powered by a 1.2kWh battery pack, generating a peak output of 138 hp. It also gets a 1-litre petrol-LPG powered unit producing 98.6 hp, mated with a 6-speed transmission that powers all four wheels.
