Kia India has officially begun production of the all-new Seltos at its Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. This milestone strengthens the brand's presence in India's highly competitive mid-SUV segment, underscoring its commitment to expanding operations and meeting growing consumer demand. Kia will reveal prices for the redesigned Seltos on January 2, 2026. The new generation builds on a model that has been central to Kia's India portfolio since production began at the Anantapur plant in 2019, marking its continued evolution.

The new Kia Seltos continues the legacy of its predecessor while introducing updates that reflect changing customer expectations in India. Designed to offer more space and stability, it is now longer at 4,460 mm, wider at 1,830 mm, and features a 2,690 mm wheelbase, improving cabin comfort and driving balance.

The SUV also adopts a refreshed design language inspired by Kia's Opposites United philosophy, giving it a stronger visual identity. Highlights include the updated Digital Tiger Face, LED projection headlamps with welcome function, redesigned alloy wheels, and a muscular silhouette. Together, these elements enhance the Seltos' presence on the road while adding modern features and styling that aim to keep it competitive in the mid-SUV segment.

The new Kia Seltos offers three engine options: Smartstream G1.5 Petrol (115PS, 144Nm), Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI Petrol (160PS, 253Nm), and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT Diesel (116PS, 250Nm). Transmission choices include 6MT, 6iMT, IVT, 7DCT, and 6AT, ensuring flexibility and smooth performance.
Customers can pick from four trims - HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX - along with option variants HTE(O), HTK(O), HTX(A), and GTX(A). The GTX and GTX(A) further stand out with the exclusive X-Line Styling Pack. Add-on packages for Convenience, Premium, ADAS, and X-Line allow complete personalization.
