Mahindra Racing Grabs Podium As Mortara Secures P2 At Jeddah E-Prix Round 4

Mahindra Racing, India's sole representative in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, secured a podium at the Jeddah E-Prix with Edoardo Mortara finishing second in Round 4. The result lifts the team to P2 in the overall standings, underlining its growing consistency this season. Mortara also climbs to third in the Drivers' Championship. Building on last year's best-ever fourth-place finish, Mahindra's 2025-26 campaign already looks stronger. As one of Formula E's founding teams, it continues to reinforce its presence as a competitive force in global electric racing.

Meanwhile, it was Pascal Wehrlein who marked his 100th Formula E start with a well-judged victory for Porsche at the Jeddah E-Prix. The reigning Season 10 champion timed his PIT BOOST and Attack Mode strategy to perfection, allowing him to move past rivals and build a decisive lead. Starting third, Wehrlein activated his 50kW boost later than most, overlapping it with his pit stop. This gave him an advantage of nearly eight seconds heading into the closing stages, a gap he managed comfortably to the flag.

Behind him, Mahindra Racing's Edoardo Mortara recovered strongly to claim second place. Mortara had begun from pole but slipped to fifth after a wheelspinning start on Lap 1. A late Attack Mode push helped him climb back through the field, securing P2, though both he and the team felt a win had been possible without the early setback.

Jaguar's Mitch Evans continued his consistent run, charging from mid-pack to third with another late Attack Mode surge. It marked back-to-back podiums for the Kiwi driver. Porsche's Nico Muller followed in fourth, while Antonio Felix da Costa in the second Jaguar and Nick Cassidy for Citroen rounded out the top six. Cassidy impressed with a strong recovery drive, climbing from 13th on the grid.

Wehrlein's win, combined with the fastest lap, earned him 26 points and pushed him to the top of the Drivers' Championship with 64 points. Cassidy sits second on 48. In the Teams' standings, Porsche leads with 109 points, ahead of Mahindra on 59. The Stuttgart marque also heads the Manufacturers' table with 125 points, comfortably clear of Jaguar on 81.
