
Hyundai is focused on enhancing its presence in the Indian market by introducing new models and refreshed versions of existing ones. This lineup includes the global releases of the Bayon and Palisade SUVs, as well as the next-generation variants of popular vehicles like the Creta and Venue. Furthermore, Hyundai plans to expand its offerings of electric and hybrid vehicles. Let's take a look at all the upcoming models by Hyundai.
Hyundai Bayon:
Hyundai is looking into launching the Bayon, codenamed BC4i, which is a compact SUV based on the i20 platform, in India. Currently, it's sold in Europe, the Bayon is expected to be available by mid-2026, competing against the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. Hyundai plans to produce it locally to keep the price low to attract potential buyers.

Hyundai Palisade:
Hyundai is also considering bringing its flagship Palisade hybrid SUV to India by 2028. With an expected price of Rs 45-50 Lakh, the premium full-size SUV will compete with models like the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq.
Hyundai Verna And Exter Facelift:
Hyundai is working on the facelift version of Verna, which was recently spied testing. It is expected to be launched by April 2026. The Verna has been successful in export markets, the second most exported car from India in April 2025. In India, the Verna competes with the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Honda City, and Maruti Ciaz.
Additionally, the Hyundai Exter will also get a facelift version by mid-2026. This new version is expected to feature a new exterior and interior. Hyundai aims to boost Exter's sales to compete better with the Tata Punch.
Hyundai Next-Generation Creta and Venue:
Hyundai's best-selling car, the Creta, makes up almost 40 percent of the company's sales. The new version of the Creta will have different engine options, including petrol, diesel, electric, and hybrid. This new model, known as SX3, is set to launch in February 2028 and will meet India's CAFE 3 standards for emissions.

Moreover, the next generation of the Venue is in the works and is expected to come out by October 2025. It will be designed to be a more premium option, with major updates to its look and features. Hyundai expects to sell around 10,000 to 11,000 units each month with the updated Venue. In April, Hyundai sold 7,593 units. Additionally, new versions of the i20 and Alcazar are also being developed, with launches expected in 2027-2028.

Hyundai EV Lineup
In the electric segment, Hyundai currently offers the Creta Electric, however, the sales are not as strong as expected. To strengthen its position in the electric vehicle (EV) market, Hyundai is developing a new electric hatchback, codenamed the HE1i. This model will compete with the Tata Punch EV with a launch price expected between Rs 10-15 lakh. It will be Hyundai's first mass-market EV built on a skateboard platform.
Hyundai is also planning to introduce a mid-size SUV EV architecture after 2027-28, designed for the upcoming market. This platform will likely feature a cost-effective 400V architecture. The electric SUVs based on this platform will compete with models like Mahindra's XUV.e and MG's next-generation EVs, with prices anticipated to be in the range of Rs 20-30 lakh.
