Hero MotoCorp launched the Xoom 160 scooter in the Indian market back in January 2025. It was introduced at a starting price of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). While the scooter was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and is available for bookings, it is yet to reach the consumers because of delays from the brand. Changing that, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has announced that it will initiate the deliveries of the scooter starting this month (September 2025). Before the process begins, here are all the details of the machine you need to know.

The Hero Xoom 160 brings a rugged design supported by its muscular bodywork, tall windscreen, and a single-piece seat, along with a unique dual-chamber LED headlight. Customers have the option to purchase a taller windscreen and a touring box as accessories. This maxi scooter has a length of 1983 mm, a width of 772 mm, and a seat height of 787 mm. Additionally, it is equipped with disc brakes and ABS to provide reliable braking.

Powering the Hero Xoom 160 is a 156 cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 14.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
