Hero Xoom 160 Bookings Commence Now; Check Price, Features, And More

Hero MotorCorp has now started taking bookings for the Xoom 160 scooter in India. The maxi-scooter was launched way back in January 2025 at a price tag of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the Xoom 160 combines rugged styling with comfort, and the delivery is expected to begin from August 2025.

The Hero Xoom 160 is powered by a 156 cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 14.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, using a CVT automatic transmission. Weighing 142 kg, it offers a fuel efficiency of about 40 km.

The Hero Xoom 160 features a rugged design with muscular bodywork, a tall windscreen, and a single-piece seat, along with a distinctive dual-chamber LED headlight. Customers can also get a longer windscreen and touring box as an accessory. The maxi scooter measures 1983 mm in length, is 772 mm wide, and has a seat height of 787 mm. The Hero Xoom 160 offers a ground clearance of 155 mm.

Talking about the features, the Hero Xoom 160 gets a digital instrument cluster with a turn-by-turn navigation system, LED lights, keyless ignition, ABS, remote seat opening, and more.

The Hero Xoom 160 stands on 14-inch alloy wheels measuring 120/70 (front) and 140/60 (rear). The suspension duty is taken care of by telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and dual shock absorbers on the rear end. Also, it ensures stable braking with disc brakes and ABS.

The Hero Xoom 160 maxi scooter is available at a price tag of Rs 1,48,500 and gets four color variants in the Indin market, namely- Matte Rainforest Grey, Summit White, Canyon Red, and Matte Volcanic Grey.
