Aston Martin has taken the wraps off the DB12 S, with sharper dynamics and performance upgrades. The brand claims that together with striking exterior changes and extensive interior enhancements, DB12 S is the new pinnacle of Super Tourer. Also, the DB12 S adds more power to the Aston Martin DB12 range. Here are the details you must check out.
Under the hood, the DB12 S is an even more potent version of the formidable Aston Martin 4.0-Liter Twin-Turbo V8. Now with 690 hp at 6000 rpm, which is an increase of around 20 hp, and 800 Nm delivered between 3000 and 6000 rpm. With this power mill, the brand claims that the DB12 S offers an aggressive response, relentless acceleration, and a 202 mph (approx 320 kmh) top speed.

In terms of the performance upgrades, the DB12 S features a distinctive new exhaust sound character. The new quad tailpipe stainless steel sports exhaust system has been tuned to accentuate the engine frequencies throughout the rev range for added depth and potency. An optional titanium exhaust system amplifies that soundtrack, further boosting the bass, mid, and treble frequencies, uplifting the sound level by 1.5 dB, while also reducing weight by 11.7 kg compared to the stainless steel system.
Another significant upgrade for the DB12 S is the standard fitment of Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB). Offering increased braking performance and thermal capacity together with a significant reduction in unsprung weight, the CCBs - 410mm diameter at the front, 360mm at the rear - combine linear brake response and consistent pedal feel with exceptional resistance to fade. They also save 27 kg of unsprung weight compared to steel brakes, which brings benefits to ride quality, steering feel, and dynamic handling behavior.

In terms of the design, the DB12 S sports gloss black sill extensions, seamlessly following the line of the redesigned front splitter, reinforcing its low-slung, aggressive stance. The DB12 S displays its 'S' badges in prominent spots, specifically on the fenders beneath each side strake. These forged emblems, crafted by hand in bright or dark chrome and finished with red glass enamel, serve as subtle yet lasting symbols of performance.
At the rear, the DB12 S delivers a bold visual statement, embodying enhanced power, refined handling, and a thrilling acoustic presence. Aerodynamics remain central to the design, with a fixed rear spoiler that adds flair while boosting high-speed stability. Beneath it lies a newly designed rear diffuser that minimizes lift and accommodates the DB12 S's signature stacked dual exhaust tailpipes, all framed by a wider rear bumper for an enhanced, aggressive, and sporty appeal.
