NASA is yet to confirm what this image is all about.
A YouTube video of a NASA image that appears to show an alien and its shadow has gone viral on the internet racking up two million hits in less than a month.
NASA has not yet commented on the image which is a part of the lunar images for Google's moon series from the space agency.
The video is attributed to a user named Wowforreel who started investigating the shadow after an online tip from another web user, according to Australia's 9News.
The image shows what looks like a humanoid figure walking along the surface of the moon.
