A new Christian group called New Life has come into focus after the recent communal strife in south Karnataka, where prayer halls were attacked. The name appeared after the Bajrang Dal claimed responsibility for attacking churches in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district. The saffron group claims the New Life indulges in illegal conversions.
