Buying a car this month? Here are the discounts

Car sales in India slumped 8 per cent in November, dashing hopes of a sustained revival in demand, as an expected festive season boom failed to materialize in a key growth market for car makers. Car sales have grown just 1.3 per cent in the April-November period from a year previously. To boost sales, car companies are doling out discounts and freebies. Here are some of them:

Maruti Suzuki
The car maker is offering discounts of up to Rs 60,000 on its cars — the Alto, the A-Star, the Estilo, the Wagon R, the Ritz and the SX4. It is also offering a three-year extended warranty, free music system, gift cheques, exchange bonuses, etc.
