Recently, a Delhi University student took on Honey Singh with a rap that criticised his misogynistic lyrics. Now, two women from Mumbai Uppekha Jain and Pankhuri Awasthi have posted a video of themselves on YouTube, labelling it 'Bombbaebs' #Rap Against Rape', where they talk about the issues that women face in India.

The YouTube video which was posted yesterday has been viewed nearly 25,000 times.

The video starts with a disclaimer stating that the video doesn't have any explicit content. "It's just that the reality for women in India is Explicit."

Disclaimer: Video may contain explicit language. Viewer discretion advised.

"We're now known as the land of rapes..But did you ever wonder, how this took shape," they ask. Thereafter, they explain how women are treated in this country, citing various examples.

In the video, the girls are seen holding placard with words such as #DomesticViolence, #misogyny, #rape and #slut, while they rap.

They ask the society to take some action, instead of merely arguing the case on social media. "Stop that tweet. And actually get on your feet. And help reform this mindset. That for years has been preset."

In the rap, the duo describes themselves like this: "We're not rappers - no. We're just a couple of girls tryin' to open your eyes."

You would think that this video may actually be kind of an 'eye opener', but if you notice the comments posted below the video, you will know it's far from that.

And, some suggested the girls leave the country, because 'blaming doesn't change anything.'

And, few others pointed that they are just trying to be 'YouTube celebrity with their foreign accent.'

However, some of them did applaud for the video.
