Here's Why MS Dhoni Is Captain Cool And 'Thalaivar' For His Fans!

India limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is Captain Cool for his fans and even those who aren't. And he has a lot of reasons to be able to claim that title.

Batting first or second, Dhoni has made it habit of batting right up to 45th over and beyond to ensure India either chase down a target or post a score that is competitive.

Based on stats from January 2015, in close to 30 per cent of the innings Dhoni batted at No 5 and below for India, he was not out. It is a phenomenal stat and one that proves his status as a master finisher. In recent times, he may have faltered a little, like against Zimbabwe, but he is still one of the key men Indian team turns to in a crisis.

Dhoni doesn't get flustered on the field and calms his team down.

MS Dhoni is Captain Cool

An off-the-field reason for his high 'Cool Quotient' is his collection of bikes. Of course, the fact that Neeraj Pandey's "MS Dhoni - The Untold Story", a biopic on the cricket icon is set to release on September 30, adds to the persona.

But there is a new reason to call MSD 'Captain Cool'.

The 34-year-old took to Facebook to post an image and it sparked a rage among his fans.

The image shows Dhoni getting a haircut, at his home presumably. It surprised many fans, especially since Dhoni has a personal hair stylist, and that to a celebrity, in Sapna Bhavnani.

Dhoni's hairdos always makes news and with Sapna in his team, people naturally assumed that he would always be getting his cuts at some 'hi-fi' salon.

The image of a 'simple' guy getting a haircut at home melted his fans hearts who couldn't stop raving about his 'down-to-earth attitude', his 'simplicity' and 'coolness'. With one fan even describing him as 'Thalaivar' just like Rajinikanth.
