Kupwara:
A terrorist was killed on Monday as two gunbattles started in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
"One terrorist was killed in an encounter between the security forces and terrorists in Darpora today (Monday)," a senior police officer told news agency IANS.
"Another encounter is going on in the Hafruda forests near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara."
"It is being confirmed whether the group of terrorists engaged in an encounter near the LoC had infiltrated into the Valley yesterday (Sunday) or earlier," the officer added.
