  • JEE Main 2017 Computer based test may actually prove to be an advantage because of the reduced human interaction which will allow a student to concentrate and not spend valuable time in trivial issues. 
  • The Exam will be conducted using Local Area Network (LAN) to provide students a hassle free and smooth experience.
  • In case of computer-based exam, there is no risk of question paper leak. 
  • For appearing in computer based exam, a candidate does not need to have advanced knowledge of computer. Just the basics of using a keyboard and mouse is enough to appear in the exam.

  • The candidates, like pen-paper based exam, will have the option to go back and review their answers. 
  • An added advantage over pen-paper based exam is that students can change their answer at any point of time. In pen-paper based exam, students cannot change their answer if they have marked it in the OMR sheet with a pen.
  • Students appearing for computer-based exam will be given rough sheet for making calculations.
