Bangalore:
A 45-year-old man allegedly strangled his three children in the age group of six to 10 years, and later committed suicide by hanging himself, police said.
Police suspect that the man killed himself as he was unable to raise funds for his daughter's wedding, which was scheduled to be held at Tirupur in Tamil Nadu on May 23.
The bodies were discovered by his wife and daughter when they returned from Doddaballapur after distributing wedding invitation on Monday morning, police said.
The man had two wives and the children, whom he allegedly strangled last night, were born to his second wife, who is dead, police said.
Priya, his eldest daughter, from his first wife, was due to be married on Wednesday, police said.
