Puducherry:
A fake tourist guide who stole cameras and laptops from some foreign tourists, has been arrested, police said.
The tourists had given the 'guide' their gadgets for safekeeping a few days back before going to a restaurant and the man made off with them, they said.
Police said they had circulated handbills with the 23-year-old man's image to various places and to autorickshaw drivers after studying video footage of the hotel where the tourists were staying.
He was arrested yesterday after he was spotted near a local temple by autorickshaw drivers, they said.
