Maharashtra minister's son among four arrested for allegedly attacking toll attendants
Pipariya: Madhya Pradesh police today arrested five people, including a Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nitin Raut's son, for allegedly attacking some forest officials and toll plaza attendants while they were on their way to hill station Pachmarhi a few days ago.

Kunal Raut and nine others allegedly got into an argument with attendants and forest officials at Matkulia toll plaza between Pipariya and Pachmarhi on June 26 at 2 am. The five then allegedly attacked the forest officials and the attendants. A case was then registered.

On Thursday, when the group was returning from the hill station, the attendants recognised them and informed the police. The police detained all 10 and took them to the Pipariya police station for interrogation, following which the five accused, including Kunal Raut, were arrested.

"On 26th a case was registered in the incident against unknown men. And today by joint efforts by Pipariya and Pachmarhi police the five accused were nabbed," Assistant Superintendent of Police A L Meena told NDTV.
