Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh:
A 10-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped and murdered at a village in Bijnore district, police said on Sunday.
The girl had gone missing on September 24 from Jahanabad's Khera village.
Her body was yesterday found in the nearby fields, they said.
The condition of the body suggested that the girl was raped and then strangulated to death, police said.
A case has been registered in this connection.
