Gurgaon:
When she heard screams for help, a young woman resident of Gurgaon walked onto the road to see her domestic help allegedly being beaten by the neighbor, a lawyer named AK Gupta.
She intervened and is now in hospital where doctors say she has injuries on her face.
Her husband says their domestic help was attacked by Mr Gupta for walking their dog near his house. When his wife intervened, she was allegedly hit on the head with an iron rod and her clothes were ripped by the lawyer and his wife.
A police case has been filed against Mr Gupta which includes allegations of molestation. Mr Gupta was not available for comment. Other neighbours have reportedly confirmed that he assaulted the woman.
The police says the woman will be asked to identify Mr Gupta as her alleged assailant when she recovers.
