Ramallah, Palestinian Territories: Israeli troops shot and fatally wounded two Palestinians during a Nakba day demonstration near the West Bank city of Ramallah on Thursday, medics and security sources said.

Security and medical sources told AFP that Musaab Nuwarah, 20, and Mohammed Udeh, 17, died in a Ramallah hospital.

They were both shot in the chest by Israeli border police during a demonstration on the anniversary of the Nakba, or "catastrophe" that befell the Palestinians when Israel was created in 1948.
