Philippines bracing for Typhoon Lupit

Manila: Disaster response agencies in the Philippines are preparing for a  massive evacuation plan amid forecast of a typhoon could hit the country.

Agencies are packing tons of food aid, keeping a helicopter ready and prepared for a massive evacuation plan in the mountainous northern region.

Back to back storms have killed over 750 people in the country recently.

Authorities say Typhoon Lupit, now roaring over the Pacific Ocean with wind speeds of 175 kmph, may spare Manila but could slam into the north in about three days.
